Make sure your family never has to pass the hat for your funeral
Final expense insurance is a small, permanent policy — $5,000 to $30,000 — that pays your loved ones within days to cover funeral, burial or cremation, and final medical bills. Premiums never rise. Coverage never expires. Most applicants qualify with no medical exam.

Why final expense coverage
The median funeral with burial now costs $8,000–$10,000 before cemetery expenses. Here is how a small policy protects your family.
Paid in days, not months
Beneficiaries typically receive the tax-free benefit within 1–2 weeks of a claim — before the funeral home bill is due.
Premiums locked for life
Whole-life design: the premium you start with is the premium you keep. The policy never expires while premiums are paid.
No medical exam
Answer a short health questionnaire. Controlled diabetes, blood pressure, and cholesterol are commonly accepted with first-day coverage.
Right-sized and affordable
Buy only what you need — $10,000 of coverage often runs $30–$70/month depending on age.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between simplified issue and guaranteed issue?
Simplified issue asks a few health questions and, if you qualify, gives full coverage from day one at the lowest price. Guaranteed issue asks no questions and cannot decline you, but costs more and usually pays a reduced (graded) benefit for natural-cause death in the first two years. We always try simplified issue first.
Will the premium go up as I get older?
No. Final expense policies are whole-life policies — the premium is level for life and the death benefit does not decrease. Beware of look-alike term products that expire at age 80.
Can I keep an existing policy?
Yes, and you usually should. Never cancel a current policy until a new one is issued and in force. We will review what you have and only recommend adding coverage where there is a real gap.
